He is a graduate of the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Marketing. He travels frequently for the firm and skillfully works with the design team to deliver the client’s expectations.
Since opening his eponymous studio in 2004, Oliver has become renowned for his knowledge and expertise in both historical decorative arts and contemporary collectible design. Prior to starting Marc-Michaels, he worked as an accountant at CPA firms, and was the Director of Internal Auditing for a large National carpet holding company. Michael oversees the financial and accounting aspects of the company and keeps the firm pressing forward. That’s why our internationally acclaimed leadership team works closely with you over the course of your project to achieve your dreams and exceed expectations. Marc recently completed his first Designer Branded Residence which sold for a new record in Palm Beach. He is working on his next masterpiece in Orlando, FL and hopes to continue creating Branded Residences with one-of-a-kind design details that represent an easy carefree lifestyle that nurtures the soul.
Through intent listening and years of design experience, the team creates environments that are inspiring and exclusive. Los Angeles-based designer Demitri Sgourakis works globally and is best known for his modern approach to eclectic interiors. His eye for fashion-forward style, combined with his deep knowledge and appreciation for the historical roots of design, result in fresh yet classic creations. Tara Kaufmann is the Director of Interior Detailing, and graduated from Florida State University with a bachelor’s degree in Interior Design and a lasting love of world art and architecture.
Her eclectic style has attracted many clients, including celebrities and high-profile executives around the world. Shannon Callahan is the Director of Design and has been with Marc-Michaels Interior Design since 2004. She is a graduate from Florida State University with a bachelor’s degree in Interior Design and a master’s degree in Merchandising & Product Development. With over 18 years of design experience, her leadership, creativity, and proficiency has led her to produce some of the firms most successful projects. The size of our firm, magnitude of our international interior design projects and longstanding relationships with vendors is unmatched.
Design is truly second nature to Marc, and his focus is primarily on high-end residential and commercial projects. Marc travels extensively around the world to a variety of project sites where his expertise is in high demand. A talented speaker whose annual appearances at trade shows lead to sold-out audiences, Marc has also made multiple television appearances.
